Most dementia assessments exist only in paper-and-pencil format. As both administering and analyzing the tests requires the presence of a clinician, the assessment of each patient is costly and time-consuming. Additionally, manual result analysis decreases the reliability of the conclusions and complicates diagnosing.

Intera-KT aims to improve the reliability of dementia diagnoses by developing and digitalizing existing standardized tests. Automatic result analysis and the possibility for the patients to administer the tests autonomously increase the accuracy and validity of the assessments. By integrating technologies that enable the registration of specific performance data and increase patient compliance, Intera-KT allows the assessment of additional diagnosis-relevant information as well as the digital monitoring of symptom progression.
